Instagram is going to shut down the old platform API sooner rather than later. Subsequently, the new Graph API will assist the users in scheduling the posts on Instagram.
The new feature will enable the businesses to schedule posts, see any public posts in which they are tagged besides checking out the profiles of other businesses.
Businesses will find it extremely easy to manage things on their own; however, there’s one ambiguity. A business will be required to go through a vendor who is a member of the Facebook Marketing Partner Program.
Instagram will ultimately close down the older API in three phase with the first one to be taken place at the end of July 2018. It remains to be seen when Instagram will shut the last two phases.
