In a latest revelation, the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has said that most of the 2.2 billion Facebook users should assume that their data has been scraped by third-party compromisers.
During his statement to the reporters, he said:
The founder held himself responsible for the errors of his company during the recent privacy scandal and he hoped to rectify them in the future.

“We've seen some scraping and I would assume if you had that setting turned on that someone at some point has access to your public information in some way”The essential setting which Zuckerberg pointed was the search functionality, through which anyone could search any specific user through his email address or phone number and not by his/her name.
