According to the Pew Research Center, 64 percent of Americans have experienced some type of data breach in their lifetime. Despite this, a new study by Varonis found that the majority of Americans fail to follow cybersecurity best practices in their own digital lives.
The team at Varonis surveyed 1000 Americans and found out half of them change their password only when they forget it, while 17 percent never bother to change their passwords.
