Send Texts NOW From Your PC Through Google’s Latest Desktop Browser Support For Android Messages

In a recent move, Google has rolled out an additional desktop browser support through which Android Messages will now let the users send and receive texts from the computer. As a result, if you will receive a text on your Android smartphone, you would be able to see it and respond to it through computer. This new feature will continue to roll out for at least a week before everyone gets access to it. It holds relevance to state that apart from plain texts; images and stickers are also supported on the web version.

To use this very feature from your computer, all you need is to scan a QR code [which is available on Android Messages website]. The code has to be scanned while using the mobile application of Android Messages.

Through this all-important step, Google is also inching closer towards Chat, which is also the firm’s execution of Rich Communication Services (RCS) inside its Android Messages app. At present, the company is putting all its efforts in making Android Messages a success as its one of those apps which is pre-installed in most of the Android devices.

Beside the aforementioned feature, Google also announced the following 4 additional features in messages:

- GIF support integration

- Smart reply

- Previewing of links within a certain conversation

- Copy/pasting of passwords and codes which are exchanged through messages
