According to a recent study by Heart And Mind Strategies, 72 percent of online American adults use Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other social networking sites. In addition, there are two audiences that have notable differences in their New Year social media plans compared to the rest of Americans. Here’s what they resolve to do more and less of on social media in 2014:
In twenty fourteen, an average of 56 percent social media users want to stay in touch with family. 55 percent want to stay in touch with correct friends and 32 percent want to reconnect with old friends. While average 38 percent of social media users say they will spend less time on reading comments by celebrities, athletes or politicians, 30 percent want to minimize their efforts in finding potential romantic partners, 27 percent are planing to say "no no" to "passing their time" and 26 percent say they will spend less time on reading comments by companies or brands.
